INCLUSION FLAMES ON AT TZOHAR L'TOHAR, RECHASIM
This week the two inclusion classes joined forces for a L'ag B'Omer bonfire.
Activities began in the classroom, where students speared marshmallows on roasting sticks and decorated letters for an ornamental poster.
After the letters (and the marshmallows) were ready, the students took the celebration outdoors. Some of the girls worked on preparing the bonfire; others preferred to make the artistic poster.
Students energetically gathered twigs, built a circle of stones to contain the bonfire and glued colorful letters on the poster.
The bonfire was duly lit, the marshmallows were carefully roasted, and after enjoying the sweet treat, the students continued to sit in a circle around the bonfire, singing L'ag B'Omer songs.
After all the work and the warmth of the bonfire, and the additional warmth of the camaraderie, it was time to distribute some refreshing popsicles (ice pops!) before tidying up and going home.
